Rally Mongolia 2010

The Rally Mongolia by SSER takes place the third time this year with this name. But it will be the 15th rally for SSER this year. Before it was the BTOU from Peking (China) to Ulaan Bataar (Mongol) and the rally is still the most famous in Asia.

With etaps up to 655 km per day, a total lenght of ca. 3.369 km, maximum altitudes around  3.000 m over seas and 8 days of race makes this rally to one of the hardest in the world.

Besides the racy aspect on one hand is the fantastic scenery of Mongol, Taiga-forests, wide graslands, rolling hills, mountains, stonedeserts, sanddunes, beautiful lakes and on the other hand a safe country with a friendly, warm welcome to Mongol.

Impressing was also the spirit of this event, which remindes at the rally's of the eighties. Not only the competition is in the focus. It is more a jointly, international adventure-race with the target, to reach the finish in Ulaan Bataar.
